About

Aidin Ashoori is a composer, pianist, and psychiatrist.

He began piano lessons at age four, and his abilities were recognized early. In 2009, he made his Carnegie Hall debut at a Winners' Recital following a First Prize award in the Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition, and returned to the hall in 2014 under the auspices of the Alexander & Buono Foundation.

His work has since expanded into sync music for motion picture campaigns and other media. Represented by leading publishers, his compositions have been featured in campaigns for major studios including Pixar, Marvel Studios, and Hulu, and licensed across numerous television productions.

In parallel, Ashoori has pursued a career in psychiatry. His interest in medicine took root in high school, where he performed regularly at a memory care center and witnessed firsthand the therapeutic power of music. He went on to earn his medical degree from Columbia University and completed his psychiatry residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
